At booktopper, we respect your right to privacy and give you control over your personal data. If you would like to delete your account and remove your personal information from our systems, please follow the steps below.
How to Request Data Deletion
Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Log into your account on the [Your App Name] app or website.
- Go to Settings > Account Profile.
- Scroll down and click Delete Account. Confirm your choice to permanently erase your data.
Method 2: Request via Email
If you are unable to access your account, you can request data deletion manually:
- Send an email to hello@hellobooktopper with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”.
- Include your registered name, phone number, and email address associated with the account.
- Our team will verify your request and completely delete your account data from our databases within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted?
Once your request is processed, we will permanently delete:
- Your user profile and account credentials.
- Your historical appointment records.
- Your chat logs within our built-in system.
(Note: Data retention may apply where required by law or for legitimate business record-keeping, such as financial transactions.)
